The Pier Luigi Nervi Foundation presents If All Time Is Eternally Present, curated by Chiara Carrera and Marta Barina, featuring video works by Kandis Williams, Meriem Bennani & Orian Barki, and Tai Shani. With the exclusive support of Bottega Veneta, the project is part of the Collateral Events of the Biennale Arte 2026.
The exhibition stages a nocturnal encounter between moving image, architecture, and public space, projecting onto the façade of Palazzo Nervi Scattolin, which is transformed into an urban exhibition device. Its ephemeral nature resists the logic of the city as monument, shifting nighttime perception from passive consumption toward active encounter and shared experience.
The presentation includes three video works: Williams’ A Travel Guide: Black Gothic in South Korean Horror, Bennani & Barki’s 2 Lizards, and Shani’s My Bodily Remains. These works, like the building itself in its original conception, act as interpreters of a collective contemporary condition, where critical deconstruction becomes a generative force.
